Data & Research Overview

The Division of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) is committed to accountability, public safety, and competency development of Alaska’s youthful offenders. The DJJ Data & Research Team plays a vital role in advancing that mission by delivering accurate, timely, and meaningful insights into juvenile justice trends across the state.  From measuring program outcomes to identifying disparities and informing policy, our work ensures decisions are grounded in evidence. We support stakeholders—whether legislators, community partners, researchers, or the public—in understanding how Alaska’s juvenile justice system evolves and how we can best serve our youth.  We explore key metrics, access reports, and learn more about the initiatives shaping juvenile justice in Alaska. With transparency and impact at the forefront, we believe data can guide stronger futures for all.
