Governing Body

The Alaska Psychiatric Institute is operated by the State of Alaska through the Department of Family and Community Services. Oversight is provided at the state level, with day-to-day operations managed by hospital leadership.

The Governing Body consists of ten voting members and four ex officio members, with the Commissioner of DFCS having a vote.
